How to transfer Spotify Playlists to YouTube Music

How to transfer Spotify Playlists to YouTube Music
If you are thinking of switching from Spotify Playlist to YouTube Music but do not want to leave behind your playlists, there are some services that make the task of transferring them relatively easy.

You will limit yourself to convert ten playlists per day because, according to one of these sites, there is an apparent limitation that Google has implemented when creating playlists.

Each of these sites will also create a public playlist by default; so if you prefer to keep them private or unlisted, you will have to manually change the settings of the playlist.

Transfer Spotify Playlists to YouTube Music

The easy method: Playlist Buddy

The easy method: Playlist Buddy
Playlist Buddy makes it incredibly easy to transfer Playlists from Spotify to YouTube. Transfer playlists very quickly, but you can only transfer lists one by one; and playlists can not have more than 300 tracks.

After you log in to the site with your Spotify credentials, you'll see all of your Spotify playlists.

Select the playlist you wish to convert and click Convert playlist on YouTube. After which you will be asked to sign in with your YouTube credentials. The list will begin to be transferred automatically. While the Buddy playlist will let you know if all the tracks were not transferred, it does not let you know which ones did not.

The Buddy playlist can also be used to convert your lists to a CSV file.

Unlimited playlists: PlaylistConverter
Unlimited playlists: PlaylistConverter

With PlaylistConverter, you can also transfer playlists one by one; but unlike Playlist Buddy, you are not limited by the number of tracks in the list. Click on the Spotify tab to start and connect your account. After which you can also choose from a list of your Spotify playlists to convert.

PlaylistConverter is a slower three-step process; And it can take a long time if you have hundreds of songs on your list.

First, it will select your playlist from a drop-down menu and wait for it to be displayed. Then, you will click Convert to YouTube. You have the option to enter a new playlist name. Then you can sign in to your YouTube account.

PlaylistConverter will go through a conversion process. Only once this is done, you can click on Now export to your YouTube account; this so that the playlist finally reaches YouTube Music.

You can monitor the progress bar and the tracks as they are converted.

Batch transfers of playlists: TuneMyMusic

Batch transfers of playlists: TuneMyMusic
TuneMyMusic is a completely free service. It makes a difference by making moving your Spotify playlists easy in batches. (If it were not for Google's limitation of ten playlists per day, theoretically you could have transferred them at once).

To begin, choose Spotify as your source. Then paste the link to the Spotify playlist or select multiple lists by clicking Upload from Spotify. Select YouTube as your destination and click on Start moving my music.

TuneMyMusic also shows you the progress bar as the song that is being transferred; and lets you know which clues did not jump to YouTube. However, it is a little less reliable than the other options listed here since from time to time it would paralyze you and simply stop transferring the list.

If you're still in doubt about whether or not to make a jump with YouTube Music, you can still use these services to transfer playlists to YouTube; and use these third-party services to get more music on YouTube.
